Building new schools

MIDAD worked to build schools in “the area’s most in need of schools” by building two schools in Afrin and Turkmen Bareh..

High school in Afrin:
MIDAD built the school to contain, one floor containing 12 classrooms and administrative rooms.

Building the “Muhammad Taha Al-Obaid” School:
It contains 6 classroom and administrative rooms, in Turkmen Bareh.

Restoration and Maintenance of Schools

In order to achieve better quality education and secure the lives of our students, MIDAD has restored and rehabilitated a number of damaged schools in northern Syria to open school doors to students again.

“Ihtimlat Camp School” in the countryside of Aleppo.
“Al-Ittihad Al-Arabi School” in Afrin, Aleppo countryside.
“Maymuna Bint Al-Harith School” in Mashhad Ruhin area in the countryside of Idlib.
“Abdul Rahman Qasim School” in the Maarat al-Naasan area in the Idlib countryside.

Providing Logistical Services to Schools

MIDAD provides the necessary support to the schools that MIDAD sponsors, in addition to a number of other schools according to their needs in the areas covered by MIDAD in northern Syria, MIDAD offers:

» Whiteboard, stationery, cleaning supplies.
» Heating materials and fuel.
» Winter clothes for students.
» Printing school curricula and providing bags, notebooks, and stationery materials.
» School furniture and desks, in addition to school painting.
» Internal transportation buses to transport students from distant places.

The school, which is located in Aleppo “Afrin”, includes more than 360 students and it serves the surrounding area, with the aim of contributing to supporting “the progress of the educational process” in the region, Education Without Borders – MIDAD, in partnership with Mercy Without Limits TR and Life for Relief and Development, built the school.

The school, which is located in Idlib, “Mashhad Ruhin – Widows’ Camp”, includes more than 2,000 students and serves the surrounding camps, with the aim of contributing to supporting “the progress of the educational process” in the region, Education Without Borders – MIDAD, in partnership with Life for Relief and Development Foundation rehabilitated a “nearby school building” to allocate it to second cycle female students.
