Inonu University in the Turkish state of Malatya issued a circular on the conditions to be met by foreign students wishing to complete their university education for the 2015-2016 academic year.

The university stipulated that the student applying to study in one of the colleges affiliated with the university must have completed secondary school or is awaiting obtaining the certificate within a maximum period of two months. The submission of the required documents will continue until July 31.

With regard to the admission requirements for Syrian students, The university determined that the student should obtain a mark of at least 170 out of 240 to apply to the College of Medicine. And 160 marks for the engineering branches and 140 for the economics branch. And 135 for those wishing to study branches of the Faculty of Arts.

The university administration also stipulated that students wishing to study at the university should have a number of identification papers, which are as follows:

1 – Foreign students must enter the required information on the following link (http://destek.inonu.edu.tr/yabanciogrencibasvuru/login)

2- A copy of the secondary school certificate, To be translated into Turkish or English, So that it is attested by the Turkish consulates or representations in their countries, Or from a notary public (NOTER) in Turkey.

3- The high school student’s transcript (TRANSKRİPT) translated into one of the Turkish or English languages and certified by the consulate or the notary public.

4 – A copy of the passport, certified and translated into one of the Turkish or English languages.

5- One personal photo.

The university administration also noted that foreign students applying to study at the university must: Send their papers to the Student Affairs Center of the university, After completing the information entry on the above-mentioned link, Where it will be sent to the following address (İnönü Üniversitesi Öğrenci İşleri Daire Başkanlığı Merkez Kampüsü, 44280, Malatya, Türkiye)

The results will be announced by the university administration on August 18, next. Then the registration process will begin between August 31 and September 4 next.

Foreign students can also see the branches and departments that will receive foreign students by entering the official website of the university on the Internet to choose the branches and departments.

It is worth noting that the foreign student is entitled to differential for 5 branches only.
