The International University for Renewal began opening academic majors in Arabic in the Turkish city of Istanbul . In cooperation with the University of Islamic Sciences (Malaysian State), and KPC University (Canadian government).
The university aims to attract students from Arab communities residing in Turkey to join the academic programs opened by the university, according to the founders.
The university includes many specializations at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Most importantly, business administration. and Islamic Studies, and political science, international relations, media, and computer, In addition to Islamic finance and psychological counseling.
It also attracts dozens of Arab academics residing in Turkey from different disciplines.
The Executive Director of International Relations at the International University for Renewal said, Samir Al-Wasimi: “We represent the nucleus of an Arab League on Turkish soil. The League has nothing but an Arab and Islamic identity, It brings together students and academics from Arab and Islamic countries so that its message is one. the official language of the university, It is Arabic and then English.
Al-Wasimi added in a statement to Anadolu Agency that “Arab students have suffered greatly as a result of the conditions they are going through in the Arab world, We, in turn, seek to open the way for students to join the university.. Our real wealth is our credibility in front of students and researchers, and in front of our Arab and Islamic world and Turkey in particular.”
He stressed, “there is an urgent need to open universities in the Arabic language, because many Muslim students in the world were going to many Arab countries to study the language of the Qur’an and Islamic law, But this door is closed to them. As a result of the outbreak of wars and revolutions in many Arab regions.
Al-Wasimi continued, “The student obtains his graduation certificate from the University of Islamic Sciences, It is also documented by the Malaysian Ministry of Education, In addition to the Malaysian Foreign Ministry..and now, We have agreements with many Arab universities, to expand the scope of specializations at the university; It strives to improve every day. And to open many branches in the Turkish states.
The International University for Renewal was established in Istanbul last year. Teaching is in both Arabic and English. It has international accreditations for its programmes. Its philosophy is based on combining science and values. It aims to build academic, scientific and research relationships and partnerships with universities, centers and specialized scientific institutions around the world.
