SAKARYA ÜNİVERSİTESİ
Sakarya University was established in 1970, on the basis that it is an engineering and architectural institute in the city of Sakarya, northwest of Turkey, which is an hour and a half by bus from Istanbul. In 1971, Sakarya University was transformed from an engineering and architectural institute into a large engineering and architectural academy supported by the government. In the period between 1982 – 1992, it was linked to “Istanbul Technical University” as an engineering college affiliated with the latter.
